Connie uses textures and vivid colours on her expansive canvases. Her palette knife and strong strokes are bold and her subjects are vingettes of nature. Her work is unique and distinctive and of late exclusively in oil on canvas.
Connie splits her time between Saskatoon, Christopher Lake and Arizona. She has studied extensively in Arizona attending many workshops each year. Her home on an acreage just outside of Saskatoon along the river bank provides her muse as her studio is located on the riverbank overlooking the Saskatchewan River.
